Mrs. Desirée Litchfield

Desiree has been married 24 years and has 4 children. Her husband is in the Air Force so they have lived in many places. The most interesting was Misawa, Japan where our first son was born. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from NW OK State University, while they were stationed in Oklahoma.  They had been homeschooling their kids for 15 years when they found VAT. They love our classical teaching and support from the teachers. Math has been her favorite subject since she was a kid and she secretly wanted to be a Math teacher. She loves seeing that lightbulb ignite when a concept is finally understood! In her free time she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and weightlifting.
